The Eternal NOW

Teaching this concept can be a challenge.  First off, one has to believe that there IS such a state as eternity and second, what does NOW represent?   For those of us who believe  “always was, always has been and always will be” its easy to take this” Eternal” thought of understanding as true, real or valid. The only way I can help guide a person to that gateway of understanding is to go through…

So experience is a great teacher.  To realize  “You can “go through something and most likely get on the other side of a situation be it bad or good, is a gift  we get to share with each other. We are allowed to look behind us and say to ourselves “I don’t know how I got through that but I did”!

Hopefully we can all experience time’s meandering measured ways taking there rightful place on our path and usher us through to the other side of just about everything.

The question is when? How does it happen this ushering of pain or joy, laughter or sorrow?  I can safely say it comes with the Eternal NOW

We seem to be created for connection to each other and our communities. Gravity is not only how we stay upright on the planet, but there is gravity in thought too. Our thoughts dictate whether we are in the moment, living in the past or the future.   By my understanding and reflection, the Eternal Now could be presented as a fully present and fully transparent life. The objective is to get the wholesome blessing of transformation in a Sacred Moment of Awareness.

These moments can and are experienced when we practice letting go of the past, embracing the present and trusting that the future is part of a plan that always was and always has been and always will be .  Why? Because if you believe you are an eternal being, having a human experience, then your path will be giving a new meaning in the present thought form.  You won’t be looking behind you with regrets nor will you be reaching so far in front of you that you miss the teaching or blessing of the moment. With concentration to our breath we can find these moments, coupled with quietude in our thought forms, the path becomes a road open to many knowings that are inclusive and not exclusive . I was taught at an early age that its the mystery that makes the path light. ITs the joy of being human to not always know the whys of our comings and goings but to enjoy the fact that we just “Get to” be part of a beautiful plan that is beyond our understanding…

I have come to be ok with that of which I do not know IT is part of the sacred divine order of teachings. To be surprised and watch my life unfold as it will for my own understanding or to hold space for others to understand theirs….This is what makes me tick makes me smile lets me know Im part of a puzzle and some way some how the pieces all come together through the Eternal NOW.

We are all each others teachers.  My hope is that humanity comes to an understanding that our thoughts can and do form our actions, words and deeds. What a beautiful utopia we could have knowing this could create divine love at any given moment by just being!

Until then, the Eternal Now is just a concept that I keep sharing with all who want to present for the task.  What is that you ask?   Its the gift of being human.  To be given a body, mind, and spirit to reflect to on another harmony and light will help us all enjoy the journey instead of rushing to a destination.

“Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life? And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. …

What I love about my Job

I love my job. I can say this fully knowing that its not always peaches and cream!  This is what makes it interesting. Being a Hypnotherapist is extremely rewarding for me. To be able to help another person or group of people uncover, enhance and restore parts of themselves or repair a life is a great experience to be a witness to. More often then not people want to change and that makes my job all the easier.  Usually when they get to my practice they are ready for a change.

I am not here to fix or change another person, yet I am here to offer a place to unfold and come to healthy conclusions on how to proceed away or move ahead in health and wholeness.  Its exciting to see a light go on in a persons eyes when relief of a long term problem can be remedied.

When days are long and things are misunderstood or just not quite coming together I stop and say out loud in my office…”Remember it’s a practice”….

In the Beginning

I was in my office the other day and I got a wonderful jewel from a client. She said to me “It’s not how you start out in life its how you finish”… That has been ringing in my ears for quite sometime now.

Realizing that we are all closer to a “finish line”  with each passing day no matter how old we are is a good thing to remember.  So my question to myself today is this: Did I live a transparent life? Have I remembered to forgive others and forgive myself for being human and fallible? Did I use my resources to the best and highest good for me and my family?  Have I given to the less fortunate? Have I had a good laugh through out the day at some absurd antic of mankind (me included!) And last but not least, did I listen to the divine in my daily prayer life?

These are simple yet very important things to remember in our daily lives.  When I forget these simple “del Vecchio” rules of how to have a successful life, all confusion breaks loose. I begin to second guess myself and that is not a very good way of living a transparent and peaceful life.  So anyone who is reading this blog, check yourselves and keep it simple. Not all of us will have the same rules but I would like to encourage you  make the time to laugh! Daily!  There is no better release then laughter.

What makes you laugh?
